FARHAN'S POETRIES FROM ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA!!!

BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE!!!

Hello everyone!!! Thanks to all those who could spare a thought for the earlier post. Even the criticism expressed when so ever calls are made, are also appreciated. The common notion that has come up is that the posts are getting monotonous, as they talk of something people are not very much and readily interested in. So I decide to detour a bit (may be part-4 can wait) and get to more of the common topics to write about. There on, my mind started wandering in all directions. Looking at everything with an author's eyes, desperate to find something to write about. The expedition led nowhere. I was in need of someone who could bolster my writing spirits. That something happened recently. The event goes as follows. Last Sunday, I was coming back from market to my   home   on a cycle rickshaw. It was evening time and hence the   traffic was dense. To kill time, I started talking to the rickshaw puller. To my surprise he turned out to be a graduate and could comment...

FROM GUYS TO MENS!!!!...... Part3

Continued from FROM GUYS TO MENS!!!!........Part2 I saw the city. It is a part of the National Capital Region, so I expected the city to be green and clean, nicely managed traffic and roads as good as an airport's runway. But, they all turned out to be Mungeri lal ke haseen sapne . Actually, it turned out to be a typical Haryanwi city. It had all the usual Indian elements like packed state transport buses, autos, hassled traffic cops, tiny road side paanwalaas selling bidis or cigrattes etc, broken roads (no points for guessing that they were filled with muddy water and presented a home to all type of insects and mosquitoes), and of-course quite a number of malls (a feature typical of the NCR cities). The walls were plastered with a lot of film posters, mostly Haryanwi . The heroines of which were ravishing beauties, good enough to cause inferiority complex to miss worlds and universes (being devoid of them during my stay at college :(, I noticed them first ;) ). On the contrar...

FROM GUYS TO MENS!!!!...... Part2

Continued from FROM GUYS TO MENS!!!!!....... Part1 It was saturday, July 31st, 2010. I was in Delhi at BADE PAPA's home and just one day from transforming into an earning lad. In the afternoon I received a call from the head office of the company I was about to join in a day's time, informing that I were to be present at the head office on the first day for the joining formalities. Keeping that in mind, I were to decide upon my itinerary for the next two days or so. The train finally stopped at the FARIDABAD station at 7 P.M. It had taken me around 1.5 hrs to reach there from Delhi because the local train I came by, stopped at places even unknown to humanity (felt like some jungle to me) and took what felt like eternity to me. While in the train I looked at the people around me. First thing I noticed, excuse my shallowness, the train was flocked with a lot of worker class people (mostly looked like Biharis), to the extent that it felt to me to be some going through some s...

FROM GUYS TO MENS!!!........Part1

Hello everyone!!! I tried a lot but time crisis has always got over me and I have hardly found time to pen down anything here. I feel bad for that but was even astonished to find that so many of my friends have actually spared quite a lot of time out of their schedules and read these posts. Anyways, the BIGGEST achievements of the year 2010 were joining the job and finally moving out of the NCR region. (My heartiest thanx to Mr. Suprio Mukherjee d BIG BOSS of BCH Electric Limited). So today being a sunday I find a tailor made slot to recall the past six months of my life. The journey began on fine July afternoon when my email account received my confirmed joining date from BCH Electric Limited. I were to join on AUGUST 2nd, 2010. I jumped out of my seat at the sight of it. I came home and told every one about the joining date. The day just went by without anything special and very soon I found myself lying on my sleep bed retrospecting the big event of the day (bett...
